Last May 24, FRLD-AGRILINK headed by Mr. Antonio Roces has been to Munoz, Nueva Ecija to witness the 39th celebration of Philmech in the Agriculture Industry with the theme, ” Aangat ang Pagsasaka sa Paggamit ng Tamang Makinarya”. Attending the event was such a privileged to be present to different activities that is fully packed of interesting information and technology that has big support to our farmers.
The following activities are as follows:
- Teknotalakayan/Seminar on Rice Mechanization
- Technology Demonstration
- Inauguration of the Bio-Process Engineering Buildin
- Launching the Philmech 10-row onion seeder
Farm “technology demonstration was the first activity that showcased during the celebration. These equipment’s from Philmech and Korea will support our Crop production to be efficient, systematic and fastest result. And one way to our Filipino farmers to achieved better harvest that eventually to compete globally.
Direct seeder is an equipment used for direct seeding, no tilling the land to improve soil moisture and conservation. It used to plant directly the seed to the soil.
This is a Ride-on Rice Transplanter, it is an equipment for planting young rice into the rice field to make the work easier to finish. It will lessen the cost for labors, stress, ensuring the proper spacing and density and to have fast and evenly mature.
Launching of the Philmech 10-row onion seeder
After the inauguration the FRLD:Agrilink have the chance to met some personalities from the Department of Agriculture with them are the DA-USEC Ariel Cunanan and Philmech Executive Director, Dionisio Alvindia.
Happy to see the Executive Director of Philmech holding MARID Agribusiness Digest, the premier source for Agriculture information and dissemination which is also celebrating 27th year of existing in the agriculture industry.
And also the Chairmain of KAMIKO from Korea was present to the event for Philmech and KAMIKO Memorandum of Agreement (MOA).
The afternoon Activities starts for the Memorandum Of Agreement (MOA) between DA/Philmech and KAMIKO (korean government) for Technical Cooperation Meeting. It aims to support technical-know-how of the technology being given to the government that will help our farmers to trained technically in terms of operation and trouble shooting.
Second activity, the programmed for 39th Anniversary Celebration and 18th Postharvest Loss Prevention Week. This was the venue for DA/Philmech to present the annual report and plans for the industry by PhilMech Executive Director Dioniso Alvindia and giving awards to the outstanding employees.
DA/Philmech celebrates their 39th anniversary in a simple way with its parnerts and clienteles who had been to witness the activities from Technology demonstration, Technical Meeting with KAMIKO, 39th annivesary celebration/18th Postharvest Loss Prevention Week and several activities.
