The biggest and all-important agricultural exhibition in Thailand is back for SIMA ASEAN Thailand 2017 which will be holding from September 7-9, 2017 at Hall 5-6 IMPACT Exhibition Center and IMPACT Lakeside in Bangkok, Thailand.
The show’s organizer’s recently held a soft lauch at the Manila Peninsula Hotel to introduce the event to local business groups.
The program initially opened with the overview of IMPACT Exhibition Organizer and SIMA ASEAN Thailand by Miss Yaowalak Chauaseeharonnacai, followed by the opportunities with Philippines and ASEAN countries by Mr. Wannapong Waiyawuththanapooom, Royal Thailand Embassy commercial counselor of the office Commercial Affairs to the Philippines. Mr. Raul R. Paz assistant Executive Director of the Philippine Center for Postharvest Development (Philmech) and was also one of the event’s speakers, discussing the current situation of the Agriculturural Machinery Market Trends in the Philippines. He mentioned that it will ber the third time for Philmech to join SIMA ASEAN, after the positive impact it had for the group. This time , Philmech will not just be an exhibitor but as a supporter for the event. Mr. Kailas Kiyothong Ph. D. senior nutritionist of Nakhoratchasima Animal Nutrition Research and Development Center, Department of Livestock Development, Ministry of Agriculture Through and Cooperatives in Thailand discussed the show’s theme “Driving Thai Agriculture Through Thailand 4.0 model” where it presented “smart farming” in Thailand, among which is the Agriculture Sprayable Drone which can accomodate 5 meter per seconds for 15 litters in 2 hectares.
SIMA ASEAN Thailand is an indoor and outdoor trade exhibition that will provide a comprehensive range of innovative technologies and equipment such as inputs, traction, soil working equipment, plant treatment, harvesting, irrigation, storage, breeding, equipment and spare parts. It will also showcase the latest technology and innovation that allows the exhibitors to demonstrate the product in the real working environment in Outdoor Exhibition demonstration area with 10,000-square meters of working space and live workings of the latest tractors, machinery and equipment.
